The subject of the photographic series is a small forest located in the city of Iași. Both the stylistics of the series and its conceptual intentionality, place the subject between a documentary photographic representation and a poetic one. Through this series, the author seeks to demystify (primarily on a personal level) the perceived “necessity” of associating natural landscapes with photographic approaches that evoke grandiose emotions. Instead, the aim is to highlight an ordinary landscape without idealizing it.
